Building an effective TikTok sales strategy from a loyal fan base
DZIK® and Śliwiński Media turned a loyal TikTok community into a measurable sales channel using Smart+, Catalog Ads, and Spark Ads, increasing return on ad spend by 237.9%, lowering cost per purchase by 68%, and raising average order value by 8.5% in the first two months.
Founded in 2007 by four friends behind the popular YouTube channel @WarszawskiKoks, DZIK® is a Polish sports nutrition and lifestyle brand built on a passion for fitness and natural bodybuilding. From premium dietary supplements and sportswear to training accessories, functional food and beverages, the brand supports people at every stage of their fitness journey with products designed to promote a healthier, more active lifestyle.
On TikTok, @warszawskikoks has built a strong presence of over 900k followers. Repurposing content from their YouTube channel, the brand adapts its videos to feel native to TikTok's fast-paced video formats.
Having launched TikTok advertising in November 2025 with a focus on awareness and consideration, the next step was to demonstrate the platform's potential as a performance marketing channel.
Working with their agency, Śliwiński Media, the campaign shifted its focus towards driving profitable e-commerce growth through Catalog Ads. The primary objective was to increase online sales while maintaining a strong ROAS.
The campaign launched in March 2026 following an evolution of DZIK's paid media strategy, with results measured across the first two months of activity. Targeting men and women aged 18–34 across Poland, the campaign focused on improving profitability by increasing ROAS, reducing CPA and encouraging higher order value.
To achieve these objectives, Śliwiński Media combined Smart+ with Product Catalog Ads and Spark Ads built from selected organic TikTok content. Product Catalog Ads automatically matched relevant products with potential customers, while Spark Ads amplified high-performing organic videos, preserving the authentic style that had already resonated with the brand's community. Smart+ then used TikTok's AI-powered automation to optimise audience targeting, bidding and creative delivery towards users most likely to convert.
Supporting this process, Śliwiński Media applied its data-led approach to campaign optimisation, continuously analysing performance and refining delivery based on real customer behaviour. Combined with TikTok's automation capabilities, this enabled the team to scale the campaign while maintaining a strong focus on profitability.
The continuous testing approach compared Smart+ against manually managed campaigns, while also testing standard Product Catalog Ads against catalog campaigns enhanced with selected video creatives. This approach allowed performance to be measured across different delivery methods and creative combinations, helping identify the most effective setup for driving profitable e-commerce growth.
The campaign delivered exceptional improvements in profitability, increasing ROAS by 237.9% while reducing cost per purchase by 68%. At the same time, average order value increased by 8.5%, demonstrating that the campaign not only drove more efficient conversions but also encouraged higher-value purchases.
Smart+ played a key role in delivering these results by optimising campaign delivery in real time and identifying users most likely to convert. Combined with Product Catalog Ads, Spark Ads and close collaboration with TikTok's account team, the campaign quickly adopted best practices that helped maximise performance throughout the initial two-month period.
A major contributor to the campaign's success was DZIK's loyal fan base, known as the "ARMIA WK", which provided a strong foundation of conversion data, allowing Smart+ to identify and reach high-value customers more effectively. Continuous testing across campaign structures and creative formats further refined performance, ensuring the most effective combinations received greater investment.
Beyond the headline metrics, the campaign changed how TikTok was viewed within the business. The consistent efficiency of Smart+ gave the brand the confidence to increase investment in the platform and establish TikTok as a reliable driver of revenue rather than solely a brand-building channel. This predictable performance also supported wider business planning, helping inform product expansion and future growth with greater certainty.
