The Objective
A launch built to get people talking
Omar Camacho came into the launch of Nunca Voy a Morir at a big moment in his career, with his sound, a blend of corridos tumbados and urban regional, picking up serious momentum with Gen Z. Warner Music Mexico wanted to ride that wave and take the launch beyond awareness. Instead of just introducing the album, the label wanted a campaign that turned the release into a moment people could join: one that got creators using the music and kept the project spinning in a way that felt native to the platform.
The idea was for Nunca Voy a Morir to be reimagined by the community, not just listened to. That way, Warner hoped to boost organic discovery of the tracks and bring the release closer to Latino and Hispanic communities in the US too.
The Solution
Branded Buzz: scale without losing authenticity
Instead of relying only on paid media to scale, Warner, working alongside Ranked Music and Rico o Muerto, tapped into TikTok’s creative ecosystem. The tool was Branded Buzz, our new solution designed to turn big brand and launch moments into creative participation at scale.
Instead of putting the whole story into a handful of locked-in posts, the format opens the door for lots of creators to discover the campaign and post videos with their own take on the music.
That approach makes a difference because Branded Buzz doesn’t start from a rigid execution. The brand gives broad creative direction and lets the community run with it in its own way, so the content comes out speaking TikTok’s language from the start. In this case, the music came to life through lip syncs, dances, POVs, lifestyle videos and celebration moments.

That mattered a lot here. This was one of the first times Branded Buzz was used for a music launch in the region, and it helped prove the solution could drive discovery and participation without sacrificing authenticity. For a rising artist like Omar Camacho, that meant pairing fast reach with something even more valuable: real community participation.
By giving creators creative freedom, the campaign stopped pushing a single message and started multiplying interpretations of the same track. The result was a huge volume of native videos, each with its own style and personality, but all connected by the same energy around Nunca Voy a Morir.
The Results
When the community becomes part of the story
The response came fast. In just 22 hours, the campaign had already passed 1,000 creator submissions and racked up more than 2.6 million views. Pretty clear sign the idea had found a natural home in the community, right?
By the end, Branded Buzz delivered 1,180 eligible videos and 6.6 million views, plus 300K engagements. The campaign also beat its contracted view goal by 2.2x and generated 2.6x more creator videos than the package projected.
The impact showed up on streaming platforms too. After the launch, Omar Camacho hit #10 on the most popular artists chart in Mexico on the leading app, while the album held #5 on the albums chart for six weeks straight.
More than two months after release, Nunca Voy a Morir was still going strong. As of August 12, the album had racked up 982.3 million streams on the most popular platform, was still pulling 3.46 million plays a day, and proved that the conversation sparked on TikTok kept echoing well beyond launch week.
